The New Chesapeake Men for Progress, Inc. has been a force for progressive change and inclusion in the City of Chesapeake since 1963. The organization provided educational programs, mentoring, and was instrumental in integrating the city by supporting the elections of Blacks on city council school board, and other city boards and commissions. The Organization continues to a voice for diversity and inclusion, racial justice, community engagement and economic growth. We welcome and invite you to become a member.

Mission
Provide leadership to the people of Chesapeake whenever and wherever it is needed in matters civic; moral; social; political and religious; safeguard the personal and civil rights of the people whenever those rights are violated; promote integrated community based service programs designed to meet the needs of youth and families; improve the public interest; and develop community interest and involvement in youth and families development in Chesapeake.
